We are so glad you’re here. At Kingpin Cattle Co., we believe that sitting down to a meal is one of the most important things a family can do together, and what you put on that table matters.

 

Our family’s journey began way back in 1932 when my grandfather, John Koning Sr. hopped on a ship from the Netherlands headed to Ca. to start his dream of farming, He first started his Dairy farm in Chino Ca. with a simple dream, To grow healthy sustainable cows, along with growing his own feed!

Then in 1982 is daughter Alice and her husband John DeVries and kids moved part of the dairy to Sulpher bluff,Tx. to extend the family farm, eventually swapping dairy cattle for beef cattle, the kids are still in operation there.  

 

Today, my husband and I feel incredibly blessed to continue the story here in the peaceful surroundings of Rocky Branch, Texas with our own ranch!

Moving to this quiet corner of the world in 2021 allowed us to slow down and focus on what truly counts: raising food that is honest and safe for the people we love.

As parents and grandparents ourselves, we understand the weight of the choices you make for your own children. You want to know where your food comes from and how it was treated.

 

That is exactly why we do things differently. We’ve traded industry shortcuts for integrity, raising our cattle with total respect on open pastures.
